  5. Dear Sysop, if you already know about SigNet or are comtemplating adding a
  6. nice "down home" flavored mail network to cater to your local users, or you
  7. simply want to learn the mechanics of echo-mail, then please read the
  8. following offer...

  10. SigNet has been around since 1991 (in one form or another) and has captured
  11. the essence of family type tele-computing for fun and computer education.
  12. It has 36 interesting conference areas which appeal to both kids and adults,
  13. and is easy to network by any Sysop who knows how to use an automated comm
  14. program and simple mail tosser.  It can be passed using QWK packet echo-mail
  15. techniques or with Fido technology (FTS).  QWK packet networking is simple,
  16. fast and inexpensive.  Shareware programs are available which make the job
  17. pleasurable and exciting.  If you are already in Fido, or have to ability to
  18. configure your software for FTS, you can use this technology to echo SigNet
  19. mail.  The method of transmission is left up to you.

  22. a "cut above" the the stand-alone BBS.  Join the exciting world of echo-mail
  23. by linking your system to others, either around the corner or in another
